I actually own my house now. Right now I am waiting to find out when I am going to get the keys. It was supposed to be five this afternoon, but it is now almost seven thirty, so I'm not sure what's going on. Hopefully I will get the keys soon though, I would like to be able to go survey the house and see what exactly needs to be done now that they have moved their stuff out.
I am making progress on furnishing the house. I bought a fridge a few weeks ago, and I have also picked out my paint colors, and I have a pretty good idea what color of carpet I am getting. Tomorrow, someone is coming over to measure the house for the carpet, so that is moving forward. I am also going to buy paint and a new lock for the door tomorrow. Apparently Kevin and his parents are painting on Friday while I am at work. So it is really coming together, and I should be moving in by the end of December. Now if I could just get the keys…
