House Update

The house is coming along nicely. There is paint on all of the walls, except the bathroom. I have picked my carpet out, which should come by the end of the week. Hopefully it will be done in time for me to move in at the end of the year because my apartment lease expires at the end of the month. I will also be glad when it is done, so that I can get back to my other hobbies, although I have found painting isn't that bad. I will post some pictures on here, and I will post more on Facebook if you would like to see them. Hopefully, I will be able to keep posting pictures as I get more and more of the house done.

Domestic-ness

I know that most people are wanting pictures of my house, but first I wanted to post about one of my few domestic talents. I first learned to crochet from my grandma when I was 4 or 5, but I really didn't get in to it until I was 10 or so. It then took me almost 10 years to crochet my first afghan. Then I decided to venture into the realm of patterns, but my first attempt to make an afghan from a pattern resulted in a full-size afghan being the size of a small doll blanket. This is my second attempt and I think it turned out quite well. Just wanted to post a picture of it before I got back to my house.
