Yesterday we got a call from one of Kevin’s x-box friends. He is a truck driver, and he couldn’t drive on the holiday because he had an oversized load, so he was looking for some entertainment and a place to sleep. Kevin being the nice person he is immediately drove over to Ogden to pick him up, although we did hurriedly clean our guest room so he could have a bed. Apparently we need to have people come over more because we get stuff cleaned up faster. We then took him to Kevin’s parents’ house for Sunday dinner. Afterwards, when they got bored of talking, they went and played x-box, which I thought was appropriate.
This morning we went to our ward breakfast, which was quite yummy, although I do have to say I am not a fan of eating pancakes and French toast with a spoon. We then came back home and watched tv. This was driving Kevin crazy, so after couple of hours, we headed back out, this time to Butterfield Canyon. Kevin and I have been up there before, so we wanted to go up again, especially to show Cory (the x-box friend) the Copper mine. It is still really green up there and very pretty. There were even a few snow patches here and there.
Unlike last time we took pictures, so enjoy the view from the top of the mountain…
