Since I had to work on Christmas, my parents decided to
spend New Years’ Eve with Kevin and I. This was the first time that my dad had
spent the night at our house, so it was a bit exciting. We first went out to
dinner at a BBQ joint near Kevin’s work, that was pretty good, but I would not
recommend the green beans. Fast food green beans are just wrong. We rented a
movie from Netflix (which must have made an impact on me because I can’t
remember what movie we watched). After the movie, we called it a night because
we are party animals like that. The next morning we ate Little Smokies (my
parents’ first time eating them), then my parents were on their way back to
Kamas.
It was a fun visit, and I think Luna and Sissy even started
to like each other a little bit more. It was kind of fun to have visitors too,
especially my dad since he never leaves Kamas. I think he and my mom even
enjoyed their visit.
